"National Energy Nuclear Power Operation Safety and Life Management Center -- Joint Laboratory of Nuclear Power Operation Safety" is a joint laboratory established by Shenzhen University and CGN Nuclear Power Operation Co., Ltd., within the platform of "National Energy Nuclear Power Operation Safety and Life Management Center", approved by the National Energy Administration in 2014. In the past five years, the Advanced Nuclear Energy Research Team of Shenzhen University has maintained close cooperation with the business community on the platform of this laboratory, and undertaken a number of major scientific research projects, including the "Peak Project" of CGN. In 2019, the laboratory’s "megawatt subminiature liquid metal cooling space nuclear reactor power supply (2018 YFB1900600)" project and "advanced nuclear fuel element performance analysis model and method of research (2018 YFB1900400)" project have successfully got special project funding from national key research and development plan.This is the first time that Shenzhen University has received the special support of the national key research and development plan in the field of nuclear energy safety and advanced nuclear energy, which will play a positive role in promoting the development of our discipline of science and technology.
